Open steak sandwich's and Rice paper spring rolls

                                 Open steak sandwich's

 Ingredients:

Steak, Bread roll, lettuce, tomato, cheese, sauce.

How we made it:

We cut every thing up (diced the vegetables) and sliced the steak we then we soaked the state in a dressing and cooked it. We then put it inside the bun and added the vegetables.

Rate:

Personally I can't rate it as I didn't try it, but I don't like steak however it might have been really good for people who do eat steak.

Opinions:

Once again I can't really give a proper opinion on this sandwich because I didn't try it :)

                    Rice paper spring rolls

Ingredients:

Rice paper, cucumber, carrot, red capsicum, noodles.

How we made it:

We cut every thing up (diced the vegetables), next we soaked the rice paper in some warm water (only for like 10 seconds) we then added everything into the rice paper roll and folded it.

Rate:

Personally I didn't wanna try it after everyone wasn't really liking it, it kinda just put me off even wanting to try it. However the rice paper didn't smell very and the texture of the rice paper was rubbery and disgusting. The noodles didn't feel like a very nice texture either.

Opinions:

I feel like if I was to ever do this again I would add something more to it such as chicken, a different sauce, etc.

Potato Frittata

                           Potato frittata

We made a potato frittata. The ingredients we used were, Potato, onion, salt, pepper, cheese, peas, corn.
Sight: It didn't look very appealing to me if i'm honest.
Smell: It smelt just like egg
Taste:  I feel like we shouldn't have used that much egg because it just tasted like an omelet.
I rate this dish a 2/10 - could have been a lot better, to me this wasn't really a potato bake/frittata.
We could improve this by not adding as much egg.
Our team worked well together, we all had equal turns with every thing.

Mac and cheese - Home economics

                            Mac & cheese

Ingredients:  Macaroni, milk, cheese, corn flower, bread crumbs, onion, tomato, salt.

Skill: Roux sauce. Roux is flour and fat cooked together and used to thicken sauces. Our cheese sauce wasn't very good at all, I don't think there is anything we could have done, it was just the type of sauce.

Evaluation:
  • Smell: It smelt alright at first it smelt cheesy.
  • Looks: It looked good and edible.
  • Taste: It tasted quite off, like off milk, but that might just be me. I feel like we could have used a different recipe next time.

Rate: I would give it a 3/10, it just wasn't very good in my opinion.

What could we do differently: Use a different recipe that is more common and not use corn flour, use normal flour. Not add tomato to it.

How did the team work together: I think our team worked fine together and there were no problems while cooking/working together.
